Internet for Nova Scotia Initiative

Connection matters. Delivering Internet for Nova Scotians is a priority and we’re making good progress. With announcements to date and a municipal led project in Pictou County, 99.5% of homes and businesses are expected to have access by the end of 2023. We're not done yet.

Peggy’s Cove Infrastructure Improvement Strategy

Peggy’s Cove is one of Nova Scotia’s most special places by the water. Develop Nova Scotia has been working closely with the community of Peggy’s Cove to co-create a comprehensive master plan focused on sustainability, liveability, and safety for the long term.

Halifax Waterfront

We began as Waterfront Development, creating experiences and opportunities by investing in infrastructure at the water’s edge. We have been building on the greatness of the ocean since 1976. The waterfront has always been the historical core of commercial and naval Halifax. We began with a focus on the Halifax Harbour, and have since expanded our operations to the Bedford, Dartmouth, and Lunenburg waterfronts. Find out more about the history that led us to carrying out our work province-wide.

Corporate

At Develop Nova Scotia, our mandate is to lead the sustainable development of high-potential property and infrastructure to drive economic growth across Nova Scotia. Working with communities, we build on our province’s natural assets to make authentic, sustainable places that attract people. Our strategic areas of focus include Thriving Communities, Authentic Destinations, and Working Waterfronts.
