Connection matters and delivering Internet for Nova Scotians is a priority. We’re making progress and we're not done yet. Develop Nova Scotia announced the second round of Internet for Nova Scotia Initiative projects—and with it, access to high-speed Internet will reach 97% of Nova Scotians.

Peggys Cove Master Plan

Peggy’s Cove is one of Nova Scotia’s most special places by the water. Develop Nova Scotia has been working closely with the community of Peggy’s Cove to co-create a comprehensive master plan focused on sustainability, liveability, and safety for the long term.

Halifax Waterfront

We began as Waterfront Development, creating experiences and opportunities by investing in infrastructure at the water’s edge. We have been building on the greatness of the ocean since 1976. The waterfront has always been the historical core of commercial and naval Halifax. We began with a focus on the Halifax Harbour, and have since expanded our operations to the Bedford, Dartmouth, and Lunenburg waterfronts. Find out more about the history that led us to carrying out our work province-wide.

Corporate

At Develop Nova Scotia, our mandate is to lead the sustainable development of high-potential property and infrastructure to drive inclusive economic growth in Nova Scotia. With a core focus on placemaking, our strategic pillars are to develop places to visit, live and for enterprises to start up and grow.
