Welcome Back!

Georges Island in Halifax Harbour

Heading back to school can be a busy time; packing, moving, course selection, buying books, and getting reacquainted with your city.

We want to make that last one easier, so here’s a list of the must do’s as a new/returning Haligonian and cannot miss waterfront events! And don’t forget to check out the still sunny patiostasty spots to grab a bite or bevvy, and tour around via bikesegway, or kayak.

MUST DO

Lounging in the new hammocks. Visitors and locals have been flocking to this new lounging area on the waterfront since they went up early August.

Break in your text books on an Adirondack chair, because studying with an Instagram worthy view is much better.

You haven’t really seen Halifax until you see it from the harbour, so grab a BeaverTail and enjoy a ride across the Harbour on the ferry. (P.S. your student metro card gets you on for FREE!)

Grab some fresh air and enjoy the waterfront trail and views in Dartmouth.
