Many thanks to our friends from the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo for partnering with us at Develop Nova Scotia to welcome The Dartmouth and District Pipe Band for a Pop Up performance as part of our Re-Open City Halifax festivities on Sunday July 19th.

About The Dartmouth & District Pipe Band
develop Nova ScotiaThe Dartmouth & District Pipe Band has been teaching the art of piping and drumming for the last 55 years. The organization draws members from the community of Dartmouth and across Nova Scotia to play in one of it’s three bands. The organization comprises of a piping and drumming school, a parade band, and two competitive bands at the Grade 5 and Grade 4 level. This band is the current North American Grade 4 champions which they secured last summer at the Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville, Ontario. They were also the winners of the Grade 4 aggregate in Atlantic Canada.
