Stephen Slauenwhite

Stephen is the Regional Director Atlantic Canada for The CFO Centre, a professional services organization offering the skills and experience of a large company Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to small and medium sized enterprises on a part-time basis. Stephen is responsible for attracting and working with CFOs in the Atlantic Canada region and for business development to match potential businesses with part time CFOs that are the right fit for the business owner.

Stephen previously worked as the Chief Financial Officer for nine years with an integrated packaging company operating with multiple Canadian production facilities exporting primarily to the USA. Stephen also worked with RBC Royal Bank for 25 years including roles of Vice President Commercial Banking for Nova Scotia, Regional Vice President for Western New Brunswick and Market Head of Personal Banking for their Dutch Caribbean operations.

Stephen holds an executive MBA degree from Saint Mary’s University and the professional designation of CMA, CPA. He is the past president of the Canadian Progress Club in Corner Brook, NFLD and has served on numerous Chamber of Commerce and non-profit organizations including the Atlantic Regional Council for the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM) and the Audit Committee for CPA New Brunswick. Stephen currently sits on the Private Company Committee in the Finance thought leadership group for FEI (Finance Executives International) Canada, a national initiative to support financial leaders across Canada.

Stephen provides strategic, operational and financial leadership from the vantage point of a Senior Executive in a regional environment.
