Stephen Slauenwhite

Stephen is the Chief Financial Officer for Emmerson Packaging, an integrated packaging company operating for over 60 years, with operations in Nova Scotia and Ontario. Stephen is directly responsible for Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology for this established manufacturing business and its related entities. Over the past 4 years, Emmerson Packaging successfully converted its entire IT system to SAP and completed significant structural changes to serve its North American client base.

Previously, Stephen worked for 25 years with RBC Royal Bank, including roles as Vice President Commercial Banking for Nova Scotia, Regional Vice President for Western New Brunswick and as the Market Head of Personal Banking for the Dutch Caribbean operations.

Stephen holds an executive MBA from Saint Mary’s University and the designation of CMA, CPA. He is a past president of the Canadian Progress Club and has served on numerous Chambers of Commerce and not-for profit organizations. Stephen currently sits on the Atlantic Regional Council for the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM) and on the Audit Committee for CPA New Brunswick. Operations from a vantage point of a Senior Executive in a regional environment.
