David Chisholm

David is a former President and owner of Macdonald Chisholm Incorporated, a company that transacted business in Insurance, Travel, and Real Estate from 1980 to 1995.

He has more than 40 years experience in the Insurance Industry, including as a director and Vice-President of the Nova Scotia Insurance Brokers Association. He brings financial and industry skills, along with previous government agency experience to the Corporation.

He has been involved in Community and Industry organizations including Chairman of the Advisory Council to the Minister of Tourism, a director of Sport Nova Scotia, and a member of the Trade Centre Board of Directors for 7 years ( 2 terms ). He was also President of the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival, and he served as Chairman and a Director of Maritime Medical Care Inc. and Medavie Blue Cross Incorporated for a combined 15 years.
